Firefly sci-fi books???

Hello, does anyone possibly know if any sci-fi books have been written that will help tie up the "Firefly" series? It's frustrating to see good programs yanked off of different networks without any kind of closure. Glad to see a new movie coming out soon. Thanks. Blessings,

ther will be a novel of the film due out sometime in March
lets hope for sequels in both movie and book!!!

Oh, joy! Do you possibly know the name of the author? I can keep looking on Amazon. Oh, yes...I definitely would absolutely love sequels galore! I so enjoyed the series because it was about 'just regular folk,' and very unique--not more of the 'same-old-same-old' one usually sees on sci-fi. ...And, I do love the South and immediately saw from the first episode the correlation between Joss Whedon's storyline and the Civil War between North and South.
'Also, I can kill you with my brain.' LOL!!! River! I love that girl. Jayne was surely watching his backside after that!
My hubby bought me the DVDs, and we have been able to see 3 episodes that never aired in our area. Sometimes other areas get things we don't. Frustratin'. ...Like Stephen King's 'Kingdom Hospital.' I thought nobdy got to see the rest of that program either, but when I went to visit my mother in Nevada (we live in Upstate New York), I saw that part of the very last episode in Carson City! I feel so cheated. 
Am hoping to find that on DVD, too--as they finally did with 'Rose Red.'

KRAD is writing the novelization of the movie. The novel will on sale at around the same time. It can be ordered through Amazon.

Oops! So sorry I called you Keith. I looked more closely at your note and realized that you had meant 'Keith' is KRAG's first name. Mea culpa. I looked at your profile, since I couldn't find KRAG's (can't find a search for profiles unless you wanna sit there and go thru zillions of postings 'til you find the individual for whom you are looking), and found your link to Amazon for Keith DeCandido's 'Serenity.' Thanks. If you hadn't posted, I would never have found his book at all.

No, Serenity will be the first novel based in the Firefly 'verse. Without the movie coming up, I doubt we would have had any novels at all.
KRAD is the screen name Keith R.A. DeCandido posts under on the net. He has writing credits in Trek, Farscape, and Andromeda, to name a few. And, not only is he a good writer, but he's a nice guy, which is a plus. ;)
...still a little whimsical in the brain pan...
