I'm not really judging or anything. I'm not exactly thrilled with my name either.
Last night I saw Gal Gadot on Jimmy Kimmel's show. It may have been a rerun, she said she had just had her second kid 2 months before. Anyhow, Jimmy pronounced her name like "Gaul (or Gol) Guh-DOTE" and did so several times with her present, and she did not indicate this was incorrect.
I was thinking Godot was pronounced "GO-doe" by comparison.
Meehof. Jack Meehof. Looks great on a resume. My parents were real comedians.

I haven't used etymology symbols for a long time, so without looking them up I'm not exactly getting if you got Godot right. But I actually HAVE heard that name pronounced, not only by a college professor, but in the version Burgess Meredith was in http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0348334/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_134. It's definitely not pronounced the way you're saying that he was pronouncing her last name.
I don't keep up much with any current events, especially celebrity stuff. I haven't even watched a late night show in over a decade.

Yeah, you're right. She pronounces it ga-DOT (as in polka dot).

You're right, she is too polite. Remember, she is just beginning to feel the affect she's having on people worldwide. She's such a cutie and very down to earth and, about a year ago she was jumping for joy of her being cast as Wonder Woman. And now has been thrust into the crazy world of Hollywood. She has not been spoiled yet with fame going to her head (I hope she stays sweet and charming).
Yesterday a bit part player; today a mega star from doing a fantastic job as Wonder Woman (I love her accent, her charming personality and total commitment to the role). You don't get many like her. Personally, I don't think she will ever get spoiled by Hollywood.

Yeah... That's just about how you pronounce Godot, just a silent T on the end, so me and Jimmy were close there.
I've never seen her perform or just off screen at all. I've only seen a few pictures here and there. Pretty girl. She's probably a just a little timid because this is all new to her now. She'll probably be more assertive now that she's becoming a name all over the world. Hopefully she doesn't let the fame get to her head.
Was that her first appearance on a big show like Kimmel? I had problems doing speeches in front of a class of around 30 in high school. Something like a late night show and I'd be like a deer in headlights.

While watching her on Jimmy, I kept recalling that she did all the maid work at her hotel.

She had a fairly kick butt character in Fast Furious.
I'd think that the Miss Israel and then Miss Universe contests a dozen years ago when she was 18 would have been bigger appearances than one of the lame Jimmys.

The last Fast and Furious movie I saw was the first one. lol. I hear they're pretty good. Maybe I should put them on my watch list.
Jimmy probably doesn't have a huge studio audience, but I'm sure anybody knows that it's going to be watched by millions of people too. I don't think too many people outside of Israel watch Miss Israel. I could be wrong about that.

The first F&F was likely the best. 2 & 3 held up OK. Tokyo Drift jumped the shark. Hard to keep track after that. Gal's first was probably her best exposition of the franchise. I mostly was drawn by Jordana.

I dunno. I don't have any problems talking in front of people I know and care about. It's strangers I don't like speaking in front of.
I see you deleted the second part right before I posted....
I don't watch Jimmy Kimmel or any of them. But I'm right about the millions of viewers though.
