The GoPs are providing cover to Trump, protecting hiz administration from the TrumPutin scandal.
If they can keep him in office into 2018 and by sum miracle the real newz outlets manaj to get thru to the gullibl voterz who still call themselvez Republicanz, then the Demz hav a good chans uv taking back the house and senate.
Then Pelosi will be majority leader - 3rd in line for the Oval Office and she will not hezitate to impeach Trump & Pence.

Republican Politicians were, are, and likely will always be against Trump.
I realize that if the GOP were the DNC than they would have just picked somebody else like they did when Bernie got screwed.

Actually and factually, they would have taken any Republican, as they pretty much did. The Party is always more important than the person as we have seen playing out intensely, day by day, for the last couple decades. Not sure how anyone could have missed that. There were at least 3 times late in Trumps campaign where Republicans like McCain and Ryan turned their backs on Trump or outright said bad stuff about him. Ryan even un-invited Trump to come to one of his rallies.
The only reason that the Republican facets started to behave is because they saw the writing on the wall. If they didn't fall in line with Trump not only were they risking losing a Presidential race that most people thought they weren't going to win, but they were likely going to lose the House and Senate as well if they continued to fight Trump every step of the way.
The only reason they're pretending to behave right now is because they don't know how things are going to go and they don't want to be left holding the bag.
They don't like him because they can't control him.
I for one like that.
