GSTRING, Oh Wise One, I have a question for YOU that I doubt that you'll answer: You're unhappy with our politicians. Clearly, you must have a better plan in mind! So, what should our politicians DO, vis-a-vis Russia? Bomb Russia in Syria? Just go straight to bombing Russia itself? - GSTRING

Dripping with condescension as always... thanks you!= GSTRING

You're welcome!

Quote:

My Plan: We should start killing as many innocent people as possible... using my new invention: Baby Bombs.

Seriously though...

My "plan?" I guess I'm not as naive as you to think that any of us having a "plan" means anything. Other than maybe to show off your plan to show how smart you think you are. It's just another kind of religion: the Practicing Elitist, imho. "Look at my great car, look at my cool house, my designer dog, and here's my plan to save the world - aren't I just the greatest?"
So, sorry hon, plans mean very little if not zip from people like us. I do have hopes though. I hope the smarter, better part of our country wins out over the shitty, selfish people. You want a real revelation?!? I want the same thing for the Russian people. Putin, Trump - guess what camp I put them in?= GSTRING

OK, so no plan. Got it

I noticed that about you, GSTRING- you'll attack from the side, but never say what you're FOR. That way you an disavow anything with .... I never said that.

Your answer was worthy of condescension!

JO, THUGR, try to stop hyperventilating for a bit, okay?

The Trump transition team was preparing to do exactly what it said it was going to do: Try to find common ground with Russia, and fight ISIS. Personally, I'm all for it. I don't see any reason to (1) destroy nations willy- nilly, (2) antagonize Russia for no reason, and (3) use ISIS as our proxy in the Middle East. I happen to be all for it because I think it's good for America.

Just because you don't LIKE that policy doesn't make it "treason". You have to show ....as you have not yet done ... that not only was this against America's interests (define our interests) but that it was deliberate. You've been stuck at "step one" for three or four months now.

Now, I can show you top security people and Presidents who HAVE broken the Constitution and lied about it and have made ruinous decisions. Some of those people ... well, let's just say that they're still lying today. When are you going to start noticing THAT as treason?

Well, since THUGR just excluded himself from reasonable conversation ... wait, what am I saying? He did that a long time ago!

I guess this is for YOU, JO:

To give you an idea of what I mean, the man who talked about people being lured into treason unknowingly ... Brennan .... was the same guy who HIMSELF committed treason by accessing the Senate Intelligence Committee computers - the CIA acting as a spy agency within the borders of the USA (itself against the law) not to investigate a crime (which would belong with the FBI) but to interfere with our political process on CIA oversight. And lied about it.

Was the same guy who lied about the CIA not having a torture program.

“As far as the allegations of the CIA hacking into Senate computers, nothing could be further from the truth… We wouldn’t do that. I mean, that’s just beyond the, you know, the scope of reason in terms of what we do.”

Really SIG, you're going with that? Don't you think maybe that's like the pot calling the kettle black? There are years worth of posts here of you defending Russia and me calling you on it. So really comrade, you're going with that?

Tell me, THUGR, what did YOU think of the invasion of Iraq? And did all of that collective hysteria turn out to be GOOD for America?

I'll bet dollars to donuts that you won't answer either question.

No no comrade. That's subjective, deflective and off topic. Trumps son in law tried to work with the Russians to open a direct line of communication with the Kremlin. Within SIG, within the Russian Embassy. One that bypasses American intelligence and the American people. He was going to visit the Embassy whenever he need to speak directly with Putin. And, on his disclosure form to gain his clearances to see our intelligence reports he lie about it. If True, that's treason. It's all coming down on your head here comrade. You won't be able to show your face without people jumping all over you troll.

A month ago I wouldn't have gotten that. I saw some Yakov standup on YouTube one day recently in the backround while just letting YT run while I was doing some work. Pretty funny stuff but I could see why he didn't last very long since most of his platform was based around one joke.

So somebody please explain Jeff Foxworthy to me!!!!! How is he the richest comedian that ever was???? Why do people even find him funny???????

The latest bit uv evidens haz MSNBC running commercial free.

Commercial free! That must mean it's really important, like the season premier of Alias was.

Quote:

The premiere episode aired uninterrupted commercial-free for 69 minutes. There were only commercials before and after the show for Nokia. In syndication, this episode is sometimes cut down to fit into a normal 60-minute timeslot with commercials.

Say what you will about Trump, but he has been extremely kind to MSNBC in terms of ratings.

For the first time in its history, MSNBC ranked number one in both total viewers and the key adults 25-54 demographic during primetime for a full week among the big three cable news networks, according to Nielsen data.

For the week of May 15, MSNBC averaged 2.44 million viewers with 611,000 in the key demo from 8 p.m.-11 p.m., beating out CNN and Fox News in both measures.

Before anybody celebrates, keep in mind that if Firefly had twice those numbers that it would have been canceled after one se.... oh..... yeah.... :(

Quote:

Firefly premiered in the U.S. on the Fox network on September 20, 2002. By mid-December, Firefly had averaged 4.7 million viewers per episode and was 98th in Nielsen ratings. It was canceled after eleven of the fourteen produced episodes were aired.

4.7 million viewers and it was 98th in Nielson ratings....

That means that even though anybody on any side watching the news and hanging out with like minded people watching the news might feel like everybody else is in on it, when the truth is that most people just really don't care. MSNBC gets number 1 of the big MSM outlets for the first time in history and it doesn't even come close to the top 100 watched shows for the week.

100 shows? How much of that is "reality" TV? Trump should have stayed in TV if he wanted to keep the ratings.
