John Boehner Says Trump’s Presidency Has Been Mostly A ‘Disaster’
Former House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) isn’t impressed with President Donald Trump.
Speaking at an energy conference in Houston on Wednesday, Boehner did praise Trump on foreign affairs and said he had stepped up the fight against the Islamic State militant group. But he generally gave a grim assessment of the president’s first few months in office, according to energy publication Rigzone.
“Everything else he’s done [in office] has been a complete disaster,” Boehner said.

It's called Virtue Signalling. T is very good at it. Most of the SJW crowd is. If you saw any of the crap he was posting the last few days to me, that's exactly what he was doing.
It stems from the Democratic platform of wrapping their campaigning with virtuous slogans like "Hope" and "Change" when that doesn't actually mean anything.
So if you were against Obama, you were against Hope. I think most of us agree that after 8 years of Bush it was definitely time for a change, but if you were against Obama you were also against Change.

One thing which has happened over and over is that politicians lie about war. I don't mean that politicians evade or shade facts, I mean that they tell big, fat, juicy, deliberate whoppers. The "attack" in the Gulf on Tonkin that justified Johnsons's escalation of Vietnam ... never happened. Noriega (Panama) wasn't a major drug runner. While Carter was desperately trying to rescue the hostages in Iran, Reagan was making arms deals with the ayatollahs. (If you want to talk about REAL collusion with the enemy during an election, there's an example!) Afghanistan had nothing to do with 9-11. Iraq slant-drilling into Kuwait wasn't the reason for the Gulf War I. 9-11 wasn't the reason for invading Afghanistan, WMD wasn't the reason for Gulf War II, and Gadaffi wasn't "massacring his own people".
It didn't matter that Johnson was a smart man, he made the "mistake" of escalating Vietnam. It didn't matter that Reagan was an intellectual midget, or that Bush I was smart, or that Bush II was drug-burned. Obama was smarter than Bush II, but he made the same "mistakes" in Libya and Syria that Bush made in Iraq and Afghanistan. The problem isn't lack of IQ, JO.
We'll only know what the REAL problem is if we know the REAL reasons for war. Whatever the reason is, it's not stupidity. Don't ever think that the people who are running the show are stupid.

The Trump transition team was preparing to do exactly what it said it was going to do: Try to find common ground with Russia, and fight ISIS. Personally, I'm all for it. I don't see any reason to (1) destroy nations willy- nilly, (2) antagonize Russia for no reason, and (3) use ISIS as our proxy in the Middle East. The headlines may as well have read TRUMP TRANSITION TEAM PREPARES TO IMPLEMENT PLATFORM PLANK. I happen to be all for it because I think it's good for America.
Just because you don't LIKE that policy doesn't make it "treason". You have to show ....as you have not yet done ... how that might be bad for America. Also, show that it was deliberately against our interests. Will you ever get to "step two"? 'Cause you've been stuck at "step one" for four months now.
Now, I can show you top security people and Presidents who HAVE broken the Constitution and lied about it and have made ruinous decisions. Some of those people ... well, let's just say that they're still lying today. When are you going to start noticing THAT as treason?
