But it wasn’t fine. Indeed, the whole idea that it was fine amounted to little more than a vague hope that Trump would change, when of course he has not. Now Congressional Republicans may (or may not, who knows) force Trump to change. It is not the deep state, it is parts of Trump's personality are broken and he needs to fix himself or (maybe) he gets replaced by President Pence. Mitch McConnell might be able to teach Trump how to control his temper, his greediness, and his loudmouth and then all will be well.
