Part of what tied the FBIs' hands in dealing with Hillary if you remember, was general David Petraeus being charged with a misdemeanor. He plead guilty to mishandling classified materials. What he did was much worse than what Hillary did. How could Comey now charge her with a felony? ![]()

The third time Comey said he did not have enough evidence to convict Hillary of a felony that keeps her in jail for life, but he would keep investigating once she was President. No significant effect on the election, whatsoever. Sure thing, 6ixstring.

Come to think of it, Comey pulled the same stunt on Trump that he did on Hillary. Comey kept insinuating three times that he does not have enough evidence to convict Trump of a felony that keeps him in jail for life, but Comey would keep investigating.

Wouldn't want to let you down Jack, so here you go. You really should question your motives ( sense of reality ) for being on the same side of the argument as SIG, 1kiki and sockpuppet when it comes to Trumps possible connections to Russia, and not your own governments. We're talking both Republicans and Democrats Jack who thinks this warrants an investigation. It is both Republicans and Democrats who are investigating.
The New York Times
Days Before He Was Fired, Comey Asked for Money for Russia Investigation
Days before he was fired, James B. Comey, the former F.B.I. director, asked the Justice Department for a significant increase in money and personnel for the bureau’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the presidential election, according to three congressional officials who were briefed on his request.

Quote:There was a $100,000 fine, too. The deal angered FBI agents who worked on the lengthy investigation and who thought Petraeus should have been treated more harshly. When FBI agents confronted him in his CIA office in October 2012, Petraeus said he had never provided classified information to Broadwell, prosecutors said. Making a false statement to a federal law enforcement agent during an investigation is a felony, a crime punishable by up to five years in prison. Judge Keesler, while passing sentence, told Petraeus that he had been “untruthful” and that his behavior “constituted a serious lapse of judgment.” But the Judge did not throw Petraeus in jail for 5 years, although he could have.

Even Comey wanted Petraeus charged with a Felony. The department of justice gets to make the call. Lets face it, Petraeus performed a great service for this country, and it was a stupid mistake. ![]()

You're not letting me down. I knew you were fully on board with it. I was just let down that you weren't the first person here to say that it was Putin that fired Comey.

I said in the other thread that I'd like to see Gowdy or Chaffetz take the seat. I don't believe either of them would back down on this issue if there really are ties.

You really are dull witted. I still haven't said Putin was behind Comeys' firing. I just posted a news story from a reputable source. As for the guys you've listed to replace him, they wouldn't want the job. It's a career killer. Why, because whomever takes the job is going to be very busy investigating Republicans and White House staff. It's one of the reasons Chaffetz is not going to run for relection in 2018. He'll wait Trump out and then come back.
Hey, if Comey needed more money, then there's something there that is troubling. Plus, "A senior Congressional official with direct knowledge told NBC News that James Comey briefed Congress in recent days that he had requested more staff and money for the Russia investigation from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein." The same guy who then wrote a report detailing why he should be fired. A report citing actions that Trump had previously praised him for. Wake up Jack

Good SIGISM Jack. I'll tell you what I told her. No fear of Russia here. I just want them smacked down because of all the reasons posted here, and the many more that are not.
It's ok Jack. I understand it's above your capabilities to process. ![]()

This asinine ( unintelligent, silly, stupid ) statement, shows you are still functioning within a confused reality.
