Maybe its the lull befor the storm?
The open session hearing wuz bad enuf for Trump. The many 'cant ansr that sitting here' questionz that woud prezumably be ansrd in the later clozed session gotta be much worse.
And hiz personal lawyer goofing up afterward didnt help.
A BIG thing iz the New York Timez (and otherz) storyz disputed by Comey. They are sticking to their story.
It wuz awful watching John McCain rattle on in confusion.
He wuz under the impression that the Hillary email investigation wuz part uv the Russian hacking investigation. He kept pressing Comey to ansr "why wuz Clinton cleared but Trump wuz not" until finally getting shut down by committee chairman Burr smacking hiz gavel and loudly telling him hiz time wuz up.
He looked pale and splochy, like an old man having a myocardial infarction.

That was the big reveal yesterday that I've been hearing about for so long. Not only was there nothing revealed, but it turns out that Loretta Lynch directly asked Comey to downplay the criminal investigation against Hillary and only refer to it as a "matter".
I'll let you hold on to hope that the closed door session was more fruitful. I'm sure Maddow was full of speculation on that matter.

The day after the vote the FBI kumz out with 'hey, gess wut - the guy you just elected iz actually Satan! Weird, huh? We've been looking into it for a few months, but werent sure till this morning, so it woudnt hav been fair to say anything.'
In fairness to Comey, Obama gets at least az much blame on this count and the failure uv imajination.

Comey doesn’t think Trump should be impeached because he believes the American people can’t be left “off the hook,” and instead need to take responsibility for removing Trump through an election. “People in this country need to stand up and go to the voting booth and vote their values,” said Comey. “That’s what they fought and died for. And at some point, we have to focus on that and make sure that whoever’s leading us embodies those and we judge that leader by their tether to those values. Then we’ll go back to fighting like cats and dogs about all the things we normally fight about.”

A lot of people didn't vote for Trump. They voted against Hillary.
Do your part and put up a good candidate this time.
We're going to be rapidly approaching two years of bitching and whining and moaning from the left, but getting nothing done. The left is still plagued by identity politics, doubling down against whites and males, and there hasn't been any mention of any legitimate candidates for the left outside of Oprah and The Rock.
Don't be surprised if Trump gets re-elected at this rate.
