I don't know what frustrates me more. That "News" outlets do this, or that so many people are manipulated by the "News" outlets with this stuff all of the time.

I have zero opinion on the issue itself. I don't know enough about it to have one.

I'm just pointing out the blatant manipulation tactics going on in a story like this on several different levels. I won't point out what they are. It should be obvious to any intelligent person who isn't thinking purely with emotions or a hard-wired proclivity.

Another thing that clouds people's judgment is wanting a particular point of view supported. Of course a war is everyone's fault, there doesn't need to be a government. Fourth estate wasn't created to inform the people. Reign of terror. Keep war going. Double plus good. It's always been their job, the one they were created for.
