Roger Stone, Trump confidante, spoke privately with DNC hackers prior to election: Report

Roger Stone, President Trump’s former campaign adviser, communicated privately with an entity directly involved in hacking the Democratic National Committee ahead of the 2016 White House race, The Smoking Gun reported Wednesday.

Mr. Stone, a veteran political consultant, swapped private Twitter messages last year with “Guccifer 2.0,” the website reported Wednesday citing an unnamed source. If accurate, the allegation means Mr. Trump’s longtime confidante and one-time presidential campaign manager spoke in private with a persona intimately implicated in the operation that helped dash Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s chance at the White House, and would undeniably amplify existing concerns regarding Team Trump’s alleged ties to Russia.

This actually is not new news and I agree that it is true because I heard Stone say it to Alex Jones on InfoWars on more than one occasion at least a month or two before the election.

What is interesting here though, is that the Guccifer 2.0 release was the only part of all of the leaks that the DNC outright denied was true. Other people who looked into it found suspiscious things about it and claimed that it was largely old data that came from another previous leak that was doctored up.

What I take issue with is the Washington Time's headline: "Roger Stone, Trump confidante, spoke privately with DNC hackers prior to election: Report"

That is not true. It was one hacker, not plural. Unless Guccifer2.0 was actually a group rather than one individual. Without saying it, it is another attempt at trying to say that somebody close to Trump was in contact with Russia, and was colluding with Russia to steal the election, since that's on the minds of every single person who is unhappy that Trump is president now.

Well, if you heard him say it then it's confirmed. I saw it appear in two different news sources but they both were quoting The Smoking Gun as the source. I don't have very much confidence in that source and said as much when I posted it.

You don't even have to bother looking up if Guccifer2.0 was a Russian agent since his release was debunked by people against Hillary within days of release and nobody took it seriously. You're just looking at old news that never went anywhere now.

It was just revealed that Michael Flynn was working as a foreign agent during the campaign, and while in Trumps cabinet as national security advisor. A guy who led the chant against Hilary, to lock her up.

Remember Trump saying Flynn was set up?

Trump transition knew Flynn might register as foreign agent

Lawyers for retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn told President Donald Trump's transition team before the inauguration that Flynn might need to register with the government as a foreign agent, but Trump was not aware of the possible move, the White House said Friday.

The disclosure by White House officials confirms the Trump transition team was aware of the situation involving the president's pick for a top national security post either before he joined the government or soon afterward.

Russian elites invested nearly $100 million in Trump buildings

A Reuters review has found that at least 63 individuals with Russian passports or addresses have bought at least $98.4 million worth of property in seven Trump-branded luxury towers in southern Florida, according to public documents, interviews and corporate records.

The buyers include politically connected businessmen, such as a former executive in a Moscow-based state-run construction firm that works on military and intelligence facilities, the founder of a St. Petersburg investment bank and the co-founder of a conglomerate with interests in banking, property and electronics.
