I've been reduced to drinking instant coffee from Aldis. Kind of a crappy time for my coffee maker to go out, yanno, this whole sobriety thing and all.

No matter what our relationship is like Jack. I hope you stick with it and get your life back.

Thanks for that. I'd be lying if I said that there weren't bad days, but keeping yourself busy is the trick. I'm really looking forward to better weather so I can start taking care of some outdoor stuff that really needs to be worked on. Most of what I've been doing is some computer based stuff that keeps me indoors most of the time. I need some sunlight.
I got my hands full tonight. Did something stupid and now I'm in a battle with a pretty nasty piece of malware that I haven't experienced before. Shut down my internet connection when I realized what was happening and had a bitch of a time removing the root cause. Now it's just a matter of cleaning up the aftermath and making sure that there aren't any ticking timebombs hiding out just waiting to make a zombie out of my PC when I'm not looking.
I really should just re-install the OS at this point, but I've got a lot of work that I haven't properly backed up at the moment that I'm going to have to take extra care to sanitize so it doesn't infect anything else.
There's a topic we can talk about that isn't politics. What's the worst computer virus you've ever had to deal with? I might have shared my story here before. This one is, at least I hope, nothing compared to that particularly viscous piece of code.
Do Right, Be Right. :)

Nothing really there Jack. No viruses to speak of. I hope you are going to AA. Nothing helps a person stay sober better than another person who's been through it.

I can vouch for that.
Sobriety is a learned thing far more than a will power thing.

I've given up looking for the meaning of life. Now all I want is a cookie.

DID YOU KNOW
1910 Halley's Comet: People Bought 'Anti-Comet Pills', Umbrellas, and Gas Masks
In 1910, as Earth passed through the tail of Halley's Comet, people bought "Anti-Comet Pills", special "comet umbrellas", and gas masks, because there was public hysteria that all life on Earth would be destroyed by gas - called cyanogen - that was detected in the tail.

Ain't that the truth. And we can see it in what's going on today. Hopefully thought, to a lesser extent going forward.

The funny thing here is that it's Alex Jones peddling the seeds when its usually the Democrats that think the end of the world is coming from climate change. ;)
I didn't watch the video. What was his reason you needed the seeds? Is Niberoo coming? lol
