From the article I draw the conclusion that Trump is insincere about the minimum wage. That way he can appeal to everyone who wants to hear whatever they want to hear.

I think one of the most telling things after the democratic convention is that Trump stated, "like me or not you gotta stay with me" because of the Supreme Court nominations yet to come.
He knows he can no longer fight or defend himself against the truth of his campaign or character, as it was displayed to Americans in the past two weeks. Lets see if more republicans jump ship. Let's see if he quits. lol

I don't understand it either. How can one man be so wrong yet he's still in the race. Something is definitely wrong in this country, even his own party has turned their backs on him:

I know it's in their partisan self interest for conservatives to insist that Hillary is the world's biggest liar.
It's not that she lies about the size of her ... hands ... It's that she has a decades-long history of lying about her non-existent computer security both on her private (US national security) server and the DNC server. And she has a decades-long history of lying about her positions on free-trade agreements. And she has a decades-long history of lying about Libya, and Ukraine, and Syria ... and Russia. And about what she really said during her half-a-million dollar speeches.
The facts about the real world are to her smaller and less vital than maintaining her image of capability. It makes me nervous. And if you're a sane person, it would make you nervous, too.
Let me just point out that the author left out vital relevant facts in the opinion piece. Doing that is known as cherry-picking. And whether you do that in the news, in discussion, in debate or in opinion, when you distort the facts, you've changed the nature of your communication into propaganda. But WE don't have any of THAT in the US, do we?!
