Air strikes on the Syrian city of Aleppo have killed at least 28 people, including children, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

I'm going to point out, once again, that this "Observatory for Human Rights" is one guy in London. That's about as credible as asking one anti-Castro expat in a Miami condo about the situation in Cuba. But western media rebroadcasts his shit without question.

Syrian Government forces seized control of the only road going into rebel-held eastern Aleppo on Sunday, leaving no way for people or supplies to get in or out of the opposition-controlled area.

"They are only a few hundred meters away, they are having fun, waiting for any civilians to pass," 27-year-old human rights activist Muhammad Zain said.

A "human rights activist" in the part of Aleppo that has been controlled by al Qaida for over a year? And I suppose this "human rights activist" was protesting the trampling of human rights by jihadi terrorists that whole time, correct?

Uh huh.

Quote:

"Really Aleppo is just another scale entirely," said James Sadri, the director of The Syria Campaign in Beirut, an advocacy group that calls for humanitarian action in the war-ravaged country. Mr Sadri said it was unjustifiable that the world had failed to act to help protect civilians in Aleppo.
"You know we have got four of the five permanent security members that are now flying in Syrian airspace and yet none of them is doing anything to stop this aerial war on these civilians which is now focused on Aleppo," Mr Sadri said.

There was a cessation of hostilities a month and some ago. Russia was pushing for a full cease-fire, it was the USA who was hanging back.

al Nusra, al Qaida, ISIL, and their various affiliates weren't part of that cessation of hostilities, but any Syrian rebel who laid down his or her arms nad was willing to separate out from foreign jihadist would have been accepted into the cessation of hostilities. Russia repeatedly asked the USA to provide coordinates of "loyal opposition" rebels so that they wouldn't be targeted, which the USA repeatedly refused to provide. In fact, the jihadists and their Turkish, Saudi, and USA-suppliers used that time to regroup and re-arm. Jihadists and Muslim extremists have been holding part of eastern Aleppo hostage for over a year. They're about to get their comeuppance.

So why don't you bitch about those fucking terrorists who are holding eastern Aleppo hostage? They had a chance to give up their arms a month ago. All they had to do was separate themselves into rebel and jihadi factions, which they failed to do. Instead, you repeat terrorist symp propaganda. That seems to make you terrorist symps too.

I think it's time you disabused yourself of that pleasant little fairy tale about our fearless leaders being some sort of surrogate daddy or mommy, laying awake at night thinking about how to protect the kids. HA! In reality, they're thinking about who to sell them to so that they can get a few more shekels in their pockets.

Uh huh.

If they didn't want to give up their arms, why didn't they take the second option? Instead, they soldiered on under the FSA-banner: a mixed bag of Turkish, Chechen, Saudi, and Tunisian terrorists and their so-called "pro-democracy" Syrian brethren.

Syria conflict: Rebels 'filmed beheading boy' in Aleppo

Quote:

Videos have emerged online that appear to show Syrian rebels taunting and then beheading a boy they say is a captured Palestinian pro-government fighter. One video shows five men posing with the frightened child, who could be as young as 10, in the back of a truck. One of the men grips him by the hair. The same man is later filmed apparently cutting the boy's head off. The incident is reported to have taken place in Handarat, north of Aleppo, where there has been heavy fighting.

... A report published by the human rights group Amnesty International earlier this month detailed a series of violations allegedly committed by Nour al-Din al-Zinki Movement fighters, including abductions and torture.

The group is reported to have benefited from financial and military support from the US, UK, France, Turkey, Qatar and other Gulf Arab states in the past.

Another French success: France bombs 120 civilians in Syria - 'retaliation' for Nice?

Quote:

Just days after Tunisian-born French resident Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel drove a truck into a crowded Bastille Day celebration in Nice, France, killing at least 84, a French-led bombing attack on the Syrian villages of Tokhar and Hoshariyeh today has reportedly killed more than 120 civilians.

Mainstream media and even the rebel-friendly Syrian Observatory for Human Rights have confirmed the killings and the civilian victims.

Well, even the State Department says they've been backing this particular group.

Another epic fail on your part.

In reality- the reality that you try so hard to deny- a large part of the "FSA" consists of Wahhabi Sunni extremists - many of them foreign- fighting under the "FSA" flag. Whatever pro-democracy elements may have made up the FSA in the beginning have been overwhelmed by Sunni extremists, both foreign and Syrian, and the "FSA" hardly deserves your continued devotion to the fiction of "pro-democracy freedom fighters".

Well at the moment you disbelieve all SOHR/monitoring groups' reports that speak of Russian/Assad civilian deaths, but believe without question their reports that speak of US coalition civilian deaths. You underline the words 'mainstream media' - yes mainstream media reported this instance of civilian deaths in Manjib, but what sources do you think they were quoting? The SOHR, and other similar monitoring groups of course. There's no deal I can strike with you that will get you to have intellectual standards, if you fail so utterly to impose them on yourself. Nor am I willing to compromise my own intellectual standards for such a bargain.
