See this? This is me caving to peer pressure and posting the "extended edition" of my previous fic. It's still Simon/Kaylee, still the next fic in my series, but now it's even more NC-17 than it was before.

CATEGORY: FICTION    TIMES READ: 3750    RATING: 9.0 (NC17)    SERIES: FIREFLY

"Have you seen Kaylee?" Simon had so far asked Zoe and Inara, and neither of them knew where the young mechanic was. He was making his way through the ship and had reached the cargo bay, where Jayne was lifting.

"Nope." Jayne replied, breathing heavily as he set down the weight. He saw the bowls in Simon's hands. "Hey, food!"

"For Kaylee." River cut in, leaning down from her hiding place on the catwalk above the two men.

"Ah!" Jayne yelped, sitting up so fast he hit his head on the bar above him. "How long you been there?"

River ignored him and looked at her brother. "Kaylee's in the empty shuttle."

"Thanks, mei-mei. " Simon called up to her.

"Hey, where you goin'?" Jayne asked, rubbing his forehead. "I'm injured!"

"Not anywhere that you'd notice." River giggled, making Simon grin as he climbed the stairs.

In the empty shuttle, he found Kaylee sitting in the middle of the floor, tools around her and a frown on her lovely face. "Hungry?" He asked.

"Oh, hi, sweetie!" Kaylee looked up, her face changing instantly. "Aw, you brought me lunch?"

"Thought we could have a picnic, of sorts." Simon replied, handing her a bowl of noodles and a pair of chopsticks. He saw hesitation on her face. "Don't worry, Inara made lunch today."

"I wasn't worried." Kaylee told him. She held the chopsticks awkwardly, dropped them a few times. Then finally, as her frustration increased, the thin wooden sticks snapped in half between her fingers. Letting loose a string of Chinese curses, she pushed her bowl away and buried her face in her hands.

" Baobei, what's wrong?" Simon asked, immediately moving to her side and putting one arm around her shoulders.

"I don't know." Kaylee moaned. "I think I'm goin' crazy or something. I can't do anything right today and I don't know why. I keep droppin' stuff, I can't figure out what's wrong with those stupid controls. It's like overnight I've turned into the biggest klutz in the 'verse and I got no idea why."

Her bottom lip was starting to tremble a

I guess Simon's interpersonal skills has definitely improved since "The Message," as his comments about Kaylee being the 2nd most graceful person he knows is a much better remark than Kaylee being the only viable woman on Serenity;)

And oh yeah....the sex is still A-1 calibre smut:D

I skilled right over the regular one in favor of reading your 'Director's Cut.'

I like the allusions to the pregnancy as well, the overly sensitive nipples and having a clumsy sort of day.
