Standard disclaimers: I don't own them. It was Joss' brilliance that first brought us the dinos.

This one is a touch shorter, but I just had a flash of Wash singing the "Rubber Ducky" song to his dinos (appropriately edited, of course).

This could be the end. Steggy knew it, but some part of his crafty reptilian brain wouldn't accept it. It was not possible that the saurians could be defeated by something as trivial as water. He leaned his head to the right, looking for some sign of his comrades. As their fearless leader, he knew it was his duty to keep morale strong even in the face of certain death. "This is indeed a grave situation, my friends! Plan H is off to a disappointing start, but fear not! The cute and funny god shall smile on us yet, and we will be saved, as is our destiny!" Lucy - predictably - cheered, while Steggy turned at the sound of approaching footsteps. Monroe and Steve appeared from around the closest hill. "Ah! Monroe, report! How fares Plan H?"

Monroe lifted himself up, giving Steggy a sharp salute. "The island appears deserted! The human oppressors have certainly been clever in setting this trap!" Monroe's arms - quite expressive, but as the group had found out a mere hour before, not useful for swimming - waved in agitation. "It seems there is no way to leave this land."

"No! Not the humans! Surely they could not discover our plan this time!" Lucy's eyes widened. The humans seemed omniscient in their ability to predict the dino army's every move.

"It appears so, Lucy," Monroe told her gravely. "It seems we must leave this battle and save the confrontation for another day!" Lucy nodded sadly, knowing Monroe was right.

Steggy grumbled in his head. Plan H had been so easy and direct. Julia had come back from a recon mission to report that the humans were sending a team to the nearest planet. Steggy had immediately realized this as an opportunity to remove several of the humans from the final conflict by stranding them on some backwater

Manic, you sooooooo rock!

""Steggy made a mental note that an engineer - or mechanic, or really anyone who had opposable thumbs and could build a raft - would be a fine addition to his force.""

I'm gonna be laughing all night now!

It made me so happy to see this posted. And then I read it and I went into a laughing fit, just thinking about Monroe's little expressive arms! I don't know why that just got me so.

These have all been excellent! Thanks for sharing them.

Just found these.
Firefly meets Bert and Ernie in a truly twisted fashion.
