Author's Note: Sorry this has taken awhile. I'm suffering from some writer's block. Thank you to everyone who reviewed the previous parts and I'll try to make the next part longer for you. Reviews are greatly appreciated. Enjoy the story.

He hadn’t expected any of them to wake up before his crew returned. Certainly not the little one. The smallest of the three, and the first to fall asleep on the walk to the ship he hadn’t thought the sprite would wake up till morning. But here she was staring at him, unblinking. Not enough to freak him out…no absolutely not…

He was about to leave the infirmary when the girl moved. Almost quicker than he could blink the little one was attached to his leg looking up at him, blue eyes filling with tears.

Then he heard a sound. One that made the little girl attached to his leg hug tighter. One that made him almost want to cheer.

The sound of his crew starting to return.

It doesn't matter how long the chapters are. Please continue! I can't wait to see the rest of the crews' reactions to the children.:):):)

This little snippet was more like a teaser, still good though but needed to be longer. I am hoping you make future chapters longer if only for the pleasure we get in reading them. Ali D :~)

okay your next one has to be longer these ones you only have one person's (and not the smartest persons) thoughts to work with but with the crew back you gotta make it at least a bit longer to fit them all in.

Hey, Aprilise: This stuff is GOOD! But like one Hershey's kiss, it ain't enough (and you knew I'd say that.) Your fans want the whole gorram BAG! So get writing, you hear? Loving the kids and Jayne's interaction, can't wait to see how the crew deals with them. Fave line: "But here she was staring at him, unblinking. Not enough to freak him out…no absolutely not…"

I need to re-read this series, April, and get my mind right. So sorry I mistook the kids' custodian for Jayne when it's MAL. *kicks at the dust at her feet.* Love your writing, April, it's just my brain that gets a'kilter sometimes. :0)
