Do you do work for comics or do you work professionally as an artist? I'm betting you do, and if not, you should. Wish I had connections for you because you deserve to get paid for this kind of beautiful job.
And as for reaching for Mal's appearing to reach for Jayne's Jayne-Thomas, please don't apologise. There's some slashy-goodness fanfic on this site that'd be all manner of represented by that connection.
And since you didn't mean for that to happen, feck it. The art is fine and better than fine, no explanations needed or wanted.
