Rivers continued run-in with the mysterious shadow. Little short this time...

The bridge was quiet. Everyone else was resting. River was piloting through an old Reaver/Armed Transport battleground. It wasn’t that tricky to maneuver through, but it still required some attention. She was having some sick fun of trying to figure out what kinds of ships were floating around in the black and what happened. By now she figured out that the transports had actually attacked a fleet of Reaver ships. They decimated the small ones, but then the larger of the canibal’s ships opened up. The transports looked to have only taken out about five of the laviathin sizers before they were comnpletely destroyed. It was amazing how long the battlefeild was. Suddenly her hair rose up on her neck. A shadow was behind her. She looked, asuming it was the boy back to taunt her again. She couldn’t hear his thoughts, so she confirmed this. He was smoking- Disgusting. Suddenly, she felt herself constrict. Every nerve ending in the primary layers of her skin was screaming. She started to feel light headed, then fell over, unconsiouse.

River awoke who-knows how much later. She was looking into the eyes of the mysteriouse boy.

“Are you ok?” he asked, seeming concerned. She looked at him astonishingly.

“Why did you do that?” River asked him, trying to remain cool. She was however, quite mad for being knocked out and revived by a simple boy, who she now suspected was possibly even younger than her. He looked puzzled for a minute.

“Why must you blame everything on me?” he asked.

“Probably because it’s your fault?” River countered, now reaching the fringes of being angry. He opened his mouth to complain, but then Mal’s voice came over the intercom.

“Er, River. Even though I know you have a facination of big shiny things and such, could we not run into that big hulk of a derelict infront of us?” She looked out the window and saw a massive Reaver ship that they were barring down on. This is tranquility... thx all! I had to write this in a very small period of time... too much homework...
@Amdobell- I am a guy XD. I know the name is girly, but this the mockup we have made at school; Dragonfly, Auch five blockade runner, Tranquility. Longer chpter coming soon.
