Very VERY tough - Am thinking both alike in diginty (to quote the bard) so am gonna have to go with the one who's more liekly to stay faithful ... now we know Han has Leia and how can I compete with a Princess, so Mal it has to be, cos I know he'll stand by his obligations even if he's mean and ornery about doing so ...

That's so shiny, and though I love Han Solo, (you know, the one who actually was a bit of a badass before Georgie boy got piss ass drunk and threw up on his own creation) I have to say the comparison is small, because Mal is definately darker, more tortured and far more akin to anger than Han. Han's the good ol boy that buys you a drink and talks business. Mal's the brusque one who hates to give up his gun when he talks business. I don't know, but to me, Mal is like Han's more serious and troubled younger brother who would have told Luke to shove it, got his contraband to Jabba the Hut, and steered well clear of the Empire's wake. Then again, after seeing the BDM, I'm more inclined to believe he would have helped take down the Empire, but have shot any Dark Jedi before they got a poke inside his head. Or would that be River? Hmm, River vs a Jedi. Mal vs Han. Inarah vs Leiah. Book vs Obi Wan. Simon vs Luke... okay I've gone too far.... Maybe one more.... Chewy vs Jayne.... Threepio vs Kaylee.... somebody stop me. Vader vs the rest of the Alliance.... Fireflyfanforever... oh, and SWOfan too....
