Again, more playing around, it turned out looking like it would make a good wallpaper. I'm still trying to develope the "engine effect". Thought I'd share it with you all, get some feedback. Anyway, I hope you like it; Let know what you think. I used LightWave and Photoshop CS. Model by Sean Kennedy, background, effects, and composition by yours truly.

i would love to get hold of that model for lightwave. It would give me a good reason to boot lightwave back up. If anyone could email it to me or let me know where to get it ,it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

and the model itself:

This has a wonderful animated cartoon feel to it or even perhaps "Serenity - The Game"

I`m still waiting it out for animations to appear.

The Price of Lightwave is a bit too prohibitive to buy just for the serenity model.

Man, that is pretty! I like what you're doing with the model. The composition could use some tweaking; it's a bit crowded. But I definitely think you're on the right track with the engine effect.

Back to the drawing board! :^) I've been doing one that WAS similar to this, but, I'll come up with something else now. I'm using trueSpace 5, I'm so ashamed, at the moment until, I can get the texturing right in Strata CX 5, 286 seperate items and no naming help! Lots of fun!!!! Excellent work on this!!!
