That is beautiful... One question, how do get the screen cap, or did you build that yourself in ps

Whoa! AMAZING! Very good lighting and amazing weather effects! (did you do the weather effects in lightwave as well with particles, or did you add them in photoshop?) Anyway, it looks GREAT!
And it's cool that you have a new computer, I just upgraded mine as well, and it really makes lightwave run a lot smoother :-)

Thanks for the comments everybody!
Orc - yep, I did everything, including the weather effects, in Lightwave (there's about 15,000 particles of rain! and the clouds are volumetric!). I only used Photoshop for the quote and a highlight or two.
monksdad - thank you very much for the complement, everything you see here I setup and rendered in Lightwave, no screencaps here!

Okay, firstly, this is amazing. More than shiny, but shiny it is. Also, you have to be a little more specific than that. YOu designed the whole ship in Lightwave? All of which, simply breathtaking. I'm literally choked up at the vision. I dunno what else to tell you. Will you marry me?

Thanks again for the comments everybody!
Terri: I designed the scene in Lightwave (the layout, the lighting, the clouds and weather effects), Sean Kennedy modelled the ship. I'm more of a set/lighting/animation creator; though I do have some experienceing building models and am currently building sets and models for a e-comic/CG movie Firefly Fanfic, hopefully due out mid next year.

Wow - just - wow. That is beyond cool, and I love the rain effect. This is something special.
What might be the chances of getting the same image paired with the Storms getting worse/We'll pass through it soon enough exchange?

Holy crap! This is mind-bogglingly stupendous, Cassivona! The sheer beauty of both the picture and the quote seriously make me jealous of your obvious talents with LW and PS:D
