Hard to say which one leaves the name most legible. But do you plan on selling memberships @the con? If so, you may want to design a badge with a rectangular white space, either @top or bottom, for a stick on name label. Then you can have your blank badges pre-printed, sealed in plastic, & punched for clips or however they are to be worn. Having to print names in colour, on badge stock, which then has to be sealed & punched, is a very slow process that you don't need @the registration area.

Thanks for the heads up on the characters - I seam to be overlooking how to add the charcetrs within photoshop, it eludes me at present but the other charcaters should be okay unless someone looks closely at the badges.
