And before you say, what is this? no action? talk only?! -- I promise some action in the next chapter. Somebody is finally going to remember about the chickens. ;-)

Silly rabbit aka Ip, Serenity is like Hotel California in the Eagles song. You can check-out any time you like, But you can never leave!

I always like finding out more about The Operative. I like getting into his head. He doesn't seem like your stock "bad guy", I get the feeling that there is really a lot going on inside of his head, and that his motives are complicated.

I had a feeling Ip would take the first opportunity to confide in his 'friend'. I am pleasantly surprised that he didn't blurt everything out though I am hoping what he did confide will not cause even more headaches for the ship and crew. Ali D :~)

“Is there any problem if I make a lengthy long-distance wave?”

Ip = epic girl failure. Still funny.

Watching the Operative advise Ip, clearly with his own questionable motivations but also making some good points, was fun to watch.

"But you can never leave!"--Nutluck, you got that right. Won't stop him from trying.
ZM--Operative's a complicated character. We'll gradually find out more. Definitely has an agenda.
AliD--you have good reason to worry that more headaches are coming
Byte--Epic is a good word. He comes to her, needing a sympathetic ear. She's all sympathy. He announces that he intends to talk to someone else, can she please bug off? Oh dear. Hopeless, completely hopeless.
Stay tuned for chickens.

Eb, a really in-depth episode on the back-story of Ip. I liked it!! Also, the old operative from the BDM raises his head. The jury is still out on that guy. Hard for me to believe, or trust in anything good coming out of Ip’s conversation with him.

Ip almost reminds me of a Kaylee’s counter part. Always wanting to see the good in people over the bad. Of course, for a intellectual person, putting one’s trust in folk’s surface demeanor is not really the smart thing to do….. much of the time. Guess that’s where the “stupid” part in Ip comes about. Not that he isn’t smart, just naïve. Hope he stay alive long enough to get smarter. Good story…..liked it very much, Z

I knew That the operative's new name sounded like something i'd heard but at the same time alien! The scots gaelic tweaked my Irish gaelic senses
