Oh awesome. Everything from Ip's reaction, Mal's first plan, and then his second "plan."

Mal's plans never work.

Uh oh, Mal has the worst luck. And I have a horrible sinking feeling that Ip may have called the Sheriff on account of him believing Mal was a slaver. Hope I'm wrong. Ali D :~)

Oh, thank you, thank you, love having my work called "awesome"--that's just so...awesome.

Sheriff: Malcolm Reynolds, eh? (to deputy) Is he on our list?
Deputy: Nope. He hasn't paid up.
Sheriff: (to Ip) He hasn't paid the appropriate--er "fees". We don't tolerate any unauthorized slaving here. Thanks for reporting him, son. (to deputy) Organize the posse!
Ip: (to self) Now what have I done?

;-)
Okay, never mind. Read the next section and find out what really happened.
