*Sigh*

And here I was about to say how proud I was that the captain was being MATURE about all this.

Nicely done.

Ah, the sh*t’s hit the fan, and Zoe hasn't even told her condition, yet.

Poor Mal, it can be frustrating when someone is keeping something from you.

He’s so insecure when comes to Inara.

Although, it's really not fair for Inara to be in this relationship and NOT tell Mal something so important, so it's not like she's exactly handling this very well either.

I mean, it's almost like she's trying to sabotage her chances for health and happiness or something.

Very nice. this line had me chuckling for abit.

Simon did not argue. Mal was just so much better at being Mal.

Oh dear, and Mal was doing so well... I am glad that Ip at last has caught the clue bus even if he had to be practially thrown on it :~) Ali D

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Really appreciate it. Yes, well it was gonna happen, wasn't it? Can't have Mal and Inara get together and everything just work out shiny forever. So leave it to Inara to be secretive when she shouldn't be, and Mal to drop the W-word...a fundamental lack of trust on both sides at this point. And now (*evil author chuckle*) I have some more conflict to resolve in a future segment. I love playing with these characters.

m52n: Welcome! Thanks for commenting, appreciate a new voice joining the party.

Ali D: "Ip at last has caught the clue bus" -- your comment just had me LOL. I have known a number of people a bit like Ip.

nutluck: thanks, I think that's my favorite line in this segment.
