Cool, though think we all know whats up with Zoe. Seems to be going around, second story with this in it. :)

That is assuming I am correct of course.

There's something sexy about jealous Mal.

The women in Mal's life all seem to be keeping things from him, I wonder why that is?

Inara’s a skilled negotiator; she makes a great compliment to Mal’s more confrontational style.

Love this description of Mal’s dress suit: “meet a 混蛋 húndàn” suit.

Like the build up and I was sympathising with Mal at how long that meal took. As for Neumann I really don't trust him. Very much liked how Mal and Zoe worked together at Nilsen's but feeling a mite jumpy with it going so smooth thus far. Ali D :~)
"You can't take the sky from me!"

Midway through the fifth course, she saw that Mal was quietly seething, and spoke to him in a low voice. “Patience is a virtue, Mal.”

“Patience shot me,” he answered, and resigned himself to another hour of tedium.

Possibly the best exchange between them I've ever seen.

Thank you for the comments! It's great to have such sharp readers. The things you pick up on...Let's just say that all of you have commented on something that figures more prominently in one or another of my upcoming stories.
