Superb. Elizabeth has to see Marcus' point of view, just as he knew how she'd feel. The fact that he still went ahead and did it could have put a wedge between them, but Elizabeth rose above it, because they love each other. Great stuff.

I am glad that Marcus remembered Mal's advice and didn't lie to Elizabeth. Either she will learn to accept that they will sometimes see and deal with things differently or they will drift apart. Plus, what kind of a man would Marcus have been to allow the *hundan* who tortured her and was intent on butchering her to go on hunting down innocent folk? I am really enjoying these little insights. Ali D :~)
