Lovely. A wonderful conversation between a doting mother and loving son about a difficult subject. I'm glad River didn't lie to Adam - I think he would have known, and that might have made it difficult for him to trust her again. As it is, he knows she loves him, and will protect him, just as he will protect her. Thank you.

I've only got as far as your Black Widow series, but I have only now registered to be able to comment and I skipped ahead to leave a comment on something less than "old". You, (Slumming w/ Midnight Obsidian)- Jane0904, Amdobell, Briglad, Blackbeanie and so many more Browncoats I can't remember by name are the greatest. By that I not only refer to your writings, but also as good people(well, so much more than good and/or great, no words can do justice) Since I haven't gotten this far I can't make an informed comment on this story, but I will when I get here (If my piss poor brain can remember). I've got some medical issues (I refuse to whine, give up or surrender, so that's all I'm goin to say 'bout that) but I don't know that I'll be able to remember to express my appreceation and love to any other authors, so please pass the word along. THANK YOU ALL for sharing your love of Firefly and your wonderful writings, and please have a bit of mercy on me for leaving out any names of other authors, 'cause I am quite sure I have. Again, THANK YOU ALL, and if I can, I will, from now on, leave comments [I ain't afraid to let ya'know if I don't like something, either :)]but I think you all should be published, 'cept then we wouldn't be able to read your work here at the BSR.

I agree and am glad that River didn't lie to Adam. Sooner or later he would have found out and that would have damaged his trust in her. Love that she is going to teach him how to control his gift.
As for Robert 7562, so happy to hear you are enjoying reading everyone's stories. Hope you will have a shiny time and know that you are welcome among us. Ali D :~)
