I found this at the Dollar Tree. There's no way that the font is a coincidence. I think they were trying to target us Browncoats... Hey, wait a minute. It worked, didn't it?

I believe that font is called Papyrus, and is fairly common for 'artsy' presentations. I'd not previously noticed it was used for the Serenity movie font.

What COLOURSCHEMER said, Papyrus is a VERY COMMON and FREE font that is often used with romanization of Eastern terminology. It's why it was chosen for SERENITY. Joss wanted everyone to have "access" to it and drive the viral marketing. Serenity is a common theme with the Eastern cultures (another reason Joss chose it for his ship) and I've seen that term with that font on several occasions. I have a plaque on my wall with it and it's Chinese counterpart which was purchased before the movie, so it is coincidence...but yet, it's by design. Joss' design. ;)
