Have been re-reading Hotpoint's series and thought to re-post a pic with some touch-ups.

HOTPOINT is a rather prodigious writer of FanFics here in the BSR. "Wolf Pack" is one of my faves, but I heartily recommend starting at the very begining of his story with "Death or Glory". If you like action/adventure fic you'll get hooked and have to read the whole thing. LOL
If you do finally get through all of his fic to "Horse, Foot and Artillery" you'll note a strong resemblance between my Goshawk above and the modified Fireflies in the story. Great minds think alike.

Well, I read the first part of "Death or Glory", got to say, as the son of a tanker, I'm loving it...
I also love all the 17th Lancer stuff in there. Perhaps Lancer regiments with the motto "Death or Glory" should stay away from valleys. Didn't work so well at Balaclava, didn't work so well at Serenity.

Ha! The clever dog! I'm not a Brit, so I didn't know this-in 1922 the 17th Lancers were amalgamated with the 21st (17th/21st Lancers)!
For anyone not familiar with the 17th Lancers, they're the poor bastards who led the Charge of the Light Brigade.
