DAY 1-In the Black

My daughters, Wendy and julie, couldn't contain there excitment. Who could blame them though. For nearly eight weeks the two of them were stuck on our U-Tran ship, stuck in the black, waiting for the finishing touches on the newly terra-formed planet to accept the new colonist.

To finally be on ground again will feel good. Especially on ground far away from the known verse. The growing hostilities between the Alliance and the Outer planets is not where I want my family to be. Here we will all be safe.

The ship started moving towards the planet, and my children started cheering. My wife, Tameron, tried to shush them from disturbing all the other passangers with no avail. No could be angry though. We are finally going to be in a new home. Miranda. What a beautiful name.
