"I don't think this is a good idea."

Minh looked at Ten Bear. "Do you want to find out why the Alliance is here or not?"

"I just don't want my ass kicked by the grown-ups for looking up information when were probably going to be told about it later."

"This is comming from the guy who goes to the back of the book to find out how the story ends insteand of reading it through like normal people."

"Seeing how a book ends doesn't risk getting yourself physically bruised like this venture of yours."

Minh grabbed Ten Bear by the shoulders and looked him in the eye. "There is a warship outside our atmo. We've lived on this planet for most of our lives. We have as much right as anyone else to know wether or not it's being threatened. I'm going and I know you want to come too so stop arguing and we can go. OK?"

"Daves Dock is ten miles from here. By the time we get there the meeting will already be over and Rabbi will back at the village."

Minh suddenly grinned. "Fear not. I have a plan. Follow me."

Minh and Ten Bear walked until they were near a clearing in the rainforest. Running through was a dirt road and on that dirt road was some vehicles-looking thing. Minh pointed to the thing.

"Ta-da! So, what do you think?"

Ten Bear stared at it for a moment. "What the hell is this abomination? This is your plan to get to Daves Dock? It looks like you took a paddle boat and added wheels to it."

He glanced at Minh. "You took a paddle boat and added wheels to it, didn't you?"

Minh shrugged. "Look, it may not have style, you don't either, but trust me, it'll get us there and back alot faster than on foot. OK?"

Ten Bear sighed heavily. "Why did I let you talk me into this?"

The firefly transport ship descended towards New Inca. Joining it were hundreds of other transport vessels and gunships, all heading to where Daves Dock was located. Colonel Book stood at the helm of the firefly, soaking in all the details.
