That's pretty good for a first attempt. My first attempt looked kind of like, well, a stick person. Okay, they still do. Not so gifted in the art department. I should stick to coloring books.

The face is excellent. If you could get his hand a little better, you would have something very good. For a first attempt, you deserve kudos.

i wanna say that simon's face is longer than that... and the angle of the chin seems a little off... but i think you've captured something in the eyes, and i'm just amused in general because i LOVE that scene. :)

Well...it looks like Simon has tiny, baby fingers in this shot, but I think it's a fabulous kick at the can, Cos! Practise can only improve upon this;D

You know, I think you should embrace the awkwardness of the fingers and try to develop a new style...something fun and artsy. It's not a bad drawing, definitely worth some praise for a first attempt, but I think you could end up developing a great modern style.
