Ready for more?

A/N: Ready for more? I had a hard time writing this chapter, but, I tend to fancy it now. This story was conceived after looking mphillips' drawing of Christmas in the cargo bay. Yes, it's June, but I want Christmas.

“SIIIIMOOON!”

The entire ship was going to hell.

It was tumbling in the black, River was screaming at the top of her lungs, there was apparently a fire in the engine room as Ru and Jayne raced to help put it out because it was too big for Kaylee, while there was talk of shuttles being deployed as an Alliance ship was barreling down on the tiny boat. Destination Paradise Vacation, had been eluded for three entire weeks. Every time they tried to go, an Alliance ship pulled up, and a chase began. Now, Simon was standing in his infirmary, beads of sweat trickling down his face as he was being forced to operate while the ship was tossing him around.

“Yu wo yi fen!” He hollered as Malcolm was in the type of mood that made him feel compelled to duck for cover. Hearing the sounds of the captain’s boots he fumbled with collecting his supplies that had scattered all over the place. "It's not exactly the easiest task to do when you're being thrown about like a rag doll! It involves precision."

“Gorramit you take them out now before this metal hound dog blows a hole in my hull!” The captain barked back. “This ship explodes I’ll strangle you myself!”

Gambit, sitting on the exam table with his shirt off and half a dozen ‘x’ marks painted on his skin, looked to his friend on his hands and knees, grabbing supplies. “Just get it over with.”

“I need to sedate you.” Serenity let out a worrying groan as she pitched to one side, and the sedative he was scrambling to get rolled away after he was just centimeters from snagging it.
