Whoa! Metal and Magic (that's Ursula) does not make the notes. I make the notes - I wouldn't be posting someone else's work here.
Ursula just gave me permission to use some of her artwork (of which, I've just realised, I've not used any for this particular note). The really cool River drawings in earlier versions are her work. All the rest is mine.

And indeed I'm currently in Standoff fandom, though it's likely I'll come back to Firefly/Serenity at some point.
