I think that one is 'shame', like Kaylee's comment suggests. I almost never use Chinese characters without a solid hint toward their meaning, or they're kind of useless.

Thanks for the comments! I liked this one in particular because it was River showing herself. I love how the only drawing is that monster and how strongly in influences the entire note, really showing her mood. I'm so lucky Ursula let's me use her brilliant drawings.

(and if you like the drawings, go to her site. I'm only able to use sketches for the Notes but she has brilliant paintings and other artwork, and she sells prints)
