Just to answer everyone, about whether this picture is meant to be funny or creepy…it’s both.
I saw this clip the other day, and I found the visual aspect of it (as well as Jewel) so endearing, that I had to make something from it. Then I thought of what Mal said in ‘Serenity Pilot)’ and it kina clicked.
Without context of ‘Objects in Space’, it is quite funny... but because we ‘know’ what’s going on, the irony lingers.
