A quirky little rewrite (gasp--blasphemy!) -- alternate lyrics to, then -- of "The Ballad of Serenity"

(Note: "The Ballad of Serenity" This is a bit more interesting when written in cursive. Try it yourself and see!)

It's my luck, took a stand

Gorram feds just took my land,

Yeah I care, but look at me,

Found the sky's my home-to-be

I'm goin' out into the black

No more home; no coming back

Took a stand for all to see,

You just gave the sky to me

Nowhere now that I can't be,

'cause you just gave the sky to me

You can't take the sky from me...

(End note: Yeah, some lines are close and/or the same. Blech. End punctuation just sometimes is, sometimes isn't, but that's the way the original sounds, anyways.)

LOVE IT! when I saw, I whipped out the guitar(theres a reason why i keep it next to the computer) and played the chords that went with the origanal, but sang these lericks, leriks? Loriks? Learicks? OK I can't spell it, but that's not important right now. I also tried replaysing(again, sorry for the spelling) the violin solo of the origanal with your lericks, learicks, WORDS, and they worked pretty well. TOTALy AWSOME SONGWRITING SKILLS
