While in Las Vegas last week I had a little "Encounter" with that other famous Sci-Fi franchise. Note the shirt, not the stomach!

You know, as I stood for this picture I couldn't help but think that Mal's answer would have been:
"Assimilate this you b*st*rds" Pulls weapon, blows them away. Borg collective is puzzled. No matter how much they adapt, lead bullets powered by high-powered explosives instead of energy (phasers) throws them for a loop.
Kaylee, cross-wires a regeneration chamber with the grav plates, blows the entire core network.
"Cap'n, okay if I borrow of few of these parts to upgrade Serenity?"
Mal: "Sure, just... don't tinker with them walking corpses. We gotta get outta here!"
