The perfect addition to my real prop money from BDM. Unfortunately, it isn't the one worn by Jewel but it is the next best thing. Now, I just have to build a special display case so you can see both sides of it.

I got it from the very nice folks at http://www.propstore.com (one of the advertisers on this web site). I should point out that this is a real prop from the movie and not a replica. It was used by Kaylee's stunt double but is a dead-on match to the one Jewel wore. On the shoulder zipper it is marked "kaylee stunt dbl" and came with a certificate of authenticity. I'm creating a nice frame for it that swings out so you can see the back of the shirt as it is as nice as the front. BTW, it looks like a lot of the pieces that make up this top are from sport jerseys other than the obvious Chinese prints. I was also surprised by the diminutive size of the top (my wife _could_ squeeze into but that's not gonna happen). Feels good to have a piece of 'verse history. Will go nicely in my sci-fi themed home theater.

Just had to say I like your screen name. One of my fave Heinlein books... Would make a great movie, I've always thought. ("The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" for those not sussing)... Even has characters who speak in their own patois a la "Firefly" albeit a Russian-English slang.
