Blue Sun Room FILK - FILK
The girl is like a sharpened blade.
Whores don’t ever, make the grade.
Not one for hidin’, but I want this hid.
Got a bunch of folks, gonna flip their lid.
She ain’t a kid, but she ain’t grown.
That special hell, gonna be ma’ own.
Scrunched ma’ balls, yanked at ma’ heart.
Left me livin’, guess that’s a start.
Let’s me talk with her sometimes.
‘Bout guns n’ blades n’ dumb ass crimes.
Ma’ tongue gets dry, ma’ gut gets tight.
Screwed up too bad, to make it right.
Ma’ girl is like, a sharpened blade.
No other, ever,
makes the grade.

Normally, I would be all over this kind of rhyming scheme for it's lack of proper flow and pattern...but it just fits Jayne to a T: simple, straightforward and honest past the limit of tact;)

it's so incredibly Jayne! Throw some more mis-spelled words in there, and it's golden!

I think Jayne does have a wary respect for River. After all, surely he'd kill any man who dared try to do what she did! It does sound Jayne-y. I like it.
