Just wondering if anyone can tell me the venue for the Buffy convention this Sunday (15th)? Hub Productions is renovating their website so I can't get any details off them.

so. I've been trying to write some of Tracey's past. I figured it could be an interesting thing. I'm trying to do it in dream format, as he mentions that while he was under, he dreamed of his family. However, my writing muse has alltogether left me. It's been gone for a couple of months now, and I hate it. I tried to write some in class awhile back, but it turned out shite. There was nothing worth keeping. I guess all my writing energies are being directed toward half-assed school assignments. I cannot even put all my effort into those. I have, however mastered the art of bullshitting. I only hope I have lost my fiction writing abilities for good. I also seem to have lost my wallpaper image muse. I haven't made a lyric wallpaper of the Firefly variety for some time. In fact, I haven't even watched an episode in some time. I've simply been so busy. (Don't tell Joss I've been watching season 5 of Smallville. I feel like a traitor.) So that's it for now. I wanna write, but I cannot. I have ideas, but they don't transfer to written word. It's frustrating.

I feel super tired, maybe 'cause I slept so late for some project about the 1920's where my partner didn't work a tiny bit. I was very annoyed, but when I finished I felt really good (independance!). Worked on iZoe thing, which i did in an hour (while doing homework), I must be getting lazy... My xanga layouts have been stopped, no time, I also have soccer training (3 times a week for 2 hours each session, SEASAC going to JAKARTA, indonesia! WOOHOO!) the start of November. I also feel like startin' a fanfiction for Firefly, but have a bad case of writer's block, as i never finished my fanfics before, and have been reading a firefly X harry potter fanfic... interesting. been reading it on fanfiction.net. But even with my busyness I still love to spend time with my fellow browncoats. hehe.

I was thinking what the 'verse would be like without Wash. Meaning, if they were to be able to continue with with the tele bit (from my mouth to the gods ears) what would it be like without Wash? Now, I was extremely sad when he died but that was movie land. Would there be any way to bring his character back? I suppose that he could come back in flashback form which would be neat especially since I would love to see how his and Zoe's relationship formed. But, as with (most) everything, life must move forward. So, where would it move too? :banghead:

Nine of them, to be exact. At least that's how many people have signed my guestbook in the six days www.desktophippie.com has been up and running. Nine whole friends! And only one of them is related to me! *is happy* I've been fine tuning the website since it started up and I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out. Trying to remember my HTML has been an education, and if a web designer saw my code he'd probably fall off his chair laughing. As well as this and my full time job, I've been asked to write an article for www.courses.ie about TEFL courses. I'll be sure to post the link here when I'm done. And on top of THAT I'm replying to all the letters and postcards I received through the browncoat post! Hopefully they should be on the way soon. Hopefully!

I'm hopin that all of you Browncoats are taking a peek at my fanfic, Firefly: Alternate Universe. Yeah, I know it doesn't have the original crew, but it's got Jayne and Wash in it, and eventually they're gonna cross paths with Mal and Serenity. Make sure you check out all my Blue Sun stuff. Thanks.

Zap2it.com ( a terrific, nearly always correct tv website ) is reporting that "Smith" with Ray Liotta has been yanked after 3 episodes. I think we were discussing "Smith" on the Jericho thread. Can't say I'm too surprised. When I'm hooked on a show, I can't wait to see the next one. I tivoed the last episode and its still in the tivo queue list, waiting to be watched. They also said "Jericho" is holding its own, and "Heroes" is doing very well.
