If you go to the following link there is a site which lists the top 100 sci-fi films and shows. go and vote as our BDH's need help. serenity doesn't even make the top 100 there! Firefly is doing better - it was at no 11 but just by adding my vote it immediately went to number 10 - lets get it to first!! the link is:

I loved Slither. It was good to see some of the old gang. I think that the delivery that Capt. Tightpants gave was completly worth going to the movie for. There were several people in there and I think that by word of mouth this movie will get a lot of people to see it. I'm glad that we went to see it. It was gross in spots, but still very funny.

Zoe has always been one of my favorite characters because she's almost more mysterious than Mal or River, my other favs. She keeps everything so tight inside, and Joss never really got a chance to tell us anything solid about her. It's so hard to tell what she's really thinking, though her bonds with Mal and Wash and the rest of the crew are clear. Maybe I just like her so much because she's a soldier, and female, and doesn't take any shit from anyone...

i'm not sure, but i think i'm on the edge of my very first conversion... watched [i]Serenity[/i] with my sister and she squeaked when the operative was smacking mal about and sticking a dirty great sword into him, laughed at the funny bits and even figured out that the reavers were the bad guys. on her own. without me explaining. then again, even my mother knew that. yeah, my mother knows that reavers are bad, simon is the cute doctor, mal is the captain, book's the old guy and the last time she saw jayne, he was a bad guy (we watched ariel last week). she was even disappointed when wash was killed and kept asking if the rest of the crew were going to die. that's my momma, morbid as hell and filthy-minded to boot. i'm so proud *wipes tear from eye* also, you should have seen my brother's faces light up when mal fired the anti-aircraft gun in the pilot episode. the influence is spreading!!! it's like a virus or something, but a good one. b hey, i just had a thought. it's exactly a year and a day since i first saw [i]Firefly[/i] YAY!!! :smokin:

Hi lovelies! So, I leaked word a few weaks ago that I might start posting round about now... Bad news! I'm making progress and in beta, but I'll be out of town and away from the internet 4/22 - 5/13 and I won't have time to post it all before I leave. I'm gonna wait, so it'll be mid May till it gets going. Bummer for me - I love posting! Sorry for the take back! But it will be a daily thing once it starts, and longer than FJ...

Hi, I Think I have found a way to bring Firefly back to the small screen. First off, I do not pretend to know much about finance, but from what I understand the main reason no tv network has brought Firefly back was becouse it was becouse of money. as Tony Montana once said "First you get the money, Then you get the power". I prefer "it's called the golden rule: whoever has the gold, makes the rules". If you can't see what this has to do with Firefly, please just stick with me a little longer. In the business world stock is the equivelent of gold. When you own a companys stock you own part of that company, giving you more influence in the company than the average guy. Let's say that afew people buy 15 shares of stock each, in the same company. 15 shares is not that much, but if that group was working together it all adds up. Suppose there are over 500 members of this site. Now if say 250 of those members, thats less then half, each bought 15 shares of stock in the same company, that would a total of 3750 shares of stock. Now if that company happened to be a tv network like Sci-Fi channel or Spike tv, then a petition from the stock-holders would carry more weight than a pettition from the general public. We would have the "gold" so we would be able to influence the rules, and mabey, just mabey, be able to bring back Firefly! We also have one thing that the cable companies do not have, Microsoft! That may sound pretty lame, but Paul Allen is a major Sci-Fi fan. He owns captain Kirk's chair and a life sized replica of the Alien, from the movie Alien. I think this is just crazy enough to work, I mean, I have seen a few petitions to start up Firefly again, but I have yet to see one made that was signed by stock holders! let me know what you think.

I met my first Browncoats this weekend. It was riggin awesome. I am still riding a high from it. To quote Jayne from the pilot...WOOOOO!!! (or at least I think that was what he was shouting after the crazy ivan) And speaking of Jayne...I hate players. Not that Jayne is a player. But I have a friend who treats guys like dirt and they eat it up. Why is that? Do they think that they can miraculously cure her of her trampy ways? Is that why girls like bad guys? Do they hope to change them of their wicked ways? Is that why I drawn to Jayne like a moth to a flame? I hope not. I would love to spend a night with Jayne, but I would want to marry Mal. But not Wash. He is already married. Married guys scare me. Too much potential for bad karma. And Don't Forget to vote for Firefly @

Well my friend has been gone for two weeks now but we keep in touch. I sent her a Simon wallpaper and she put it on her laptop. I am still waiting to hear what her favorite episodes were when we watched the whole series at my house. But since then I have been watching an episode every couple of days or so, when I feel I need a little Serenity in my life. I watched Out of Gas yesterday. It is one of my favorites though I love the whole series. Some other favorite, favorites include Our Mrs. Reynolds, War Stories, Serenity Parts 1&2, Ariel, Shindig. And to boot, I had another Firefly dream the other night. Kind of bizarre- the crew was in my world, like now, and they were helping me set up for this big party event. Mal had to take me shopping! Weird I know! I put a great Mal wallpaper on my desktop. It shows him at the helm leaning back in his chair his leg propped up on the console. There is his name and a quote in gold from Shindig "Mercy is the mark of a great man, guess I'm just a good man. Well, I'm alright." Shiny!
