Hi there, I got my degree classification today. I got a 2:1. Yay me. I was so nervous cos I didn't think I would do so well. My graduation ceremony is on the 11th July. My brother got a 2:2. If you don't understand the English classification system it goes: 1st, 2:1, 2:2, 3rd.

STEAMER

As the new Summer of Serenity takes flight, so do the Firefly moments - not to mention the fireflies!! Firefly moment #1: Most recent New England Browncoats Shindig comes to mind. We're all out hanging around the fire pit after dark, playing bongo drums, tambourines, and other percussive instruments. In the midst of our second number, Kessa comes up, puts a crown of flowers on my head, slips off, and returns with a bowl of wine that she plants in my hands....Caught up in the moment, I chug it. But thankfully we didn't do the dance with the joining of hands, so her husband won't have any pointed things to say. :wink: So as we're doing our third number on the drums, I watch the flames a-leaping: then I see a little point of light blink on and off again. Then I see another, and another, and as I look around I see that we have some extra special company which I point out to the rest of the gang. We finish the number to see swarms of them darting around us, and one of the crew pipes up: "Well, guys, we've done it! We summoned the fireflies!" Truth to say, it was the weirdest thing - they didn't start swarming around us until we got going with the drums. Freak of nature, anyone? Weird, but undeniably cool. Firefly moment #2: Kessa, DF, and I are on our way home from the CSTS showing in Boston. DF stretches out in the back seat of the van, phone in hand. As he's our acting mechanic, it is observed that he's stretched out in his hammock listening to the Message. Thus follows the exchange: Me (as Kaylee): Hey, this thing doesn't vibrate! DF: *fiddles with phone* It does now. Me: Oh, GOD!!! I can't KNOW that!!!! Kessa: I could stand to hear a little more. Weekends like those really make me wish I could be a full-time Browncoat, I'm tellin' ya. Firefly moment #3: I'm in Panera having lunch right now, and somebody just asked me why I was cutting up my apple with a pocket knife. My explanation started with: "You know what a Grizwald is?" There will be more. Never doubt nor fear, there will be more. :evil:

JOSSISAGOD

My little brother hops in the modified car, and I get to ride in the back of the family car with my parents while little bro gets free rein(sp) of the car that I was supposed to be using by now! If I had use of the car like he does, maybe I would think of more places to be going, while using the car! Instead, just when I'm feeling good about the arrangement we have, I get stiffed again!!! I'm REALLY starting to hate my life again! Also, the Title is NOW in MY name! Edit: I just found out that the little shit put himself in a situation, he should never have been in, and got in another accident! He tried to park in a hectic concert parking lot, and backed into someone! Though, that someone is the exactly like him, where he tries to minimize the blame on himself, they push the blame onto him, I'm just getting pissed at the entire world right now!

ORANGEHAT

So I changed a bit of my last entry and I dont know if I'm likin' it or not the brackets are new... I'm really mad at my blog on myspace because I went to the great length of ranting about how gweneth paltrow was a horrible choice for the movie Proof, only because she wasn't grunge enough, then I went off on a tangent about being crazy....anyways I go to post the damn thing and the page gets all screwed up and I lost my entire rant! It was so mean! And I refuse to try and write the same thing twice, it's never as heated or as meaningful as the first time. Health wise this has been a baaaaaaad week. Actually its probably more than a week. I've been partying (as in 'do you like to party?' [as in American Beauty]) since thursday basically and tonight I'm going to an all out blast IN THE COUNTRY no less. It's going to be a crazy crazy night and I find myself wishing that I could have a day or more of rest. But hey! You're only young once.....I hate that saying. All you're doing when you say that is trying to justify things to yourself. And then after this, I get a day to work and then off to calgary for the WARPED TOUR which will rock my socks in SOOOO many ways! I plan on having R N R in there somewhere....... Well it hasn't been all parties. Well, actually it kinda has, I was trying to make myself feel better by making my life seem not so pissed away. We'll see how that goes.........

TRAVELER

I'm on vacation. What am I going to do? NOTHING! Well nothing important anyway. Write blogs. Make silly posts that make people scratch their heads. There is a World War II B-17 at a locale airport that they are allowing people to tour. I will do that. My dad was a navigator on one of those babies. One day your a boy from Nebraska and the next day your 15,000 feet above Berlin getting the shit kicked out of you by flak.
