Thanks for the response. One of the tests had quite a few questions. And it matched you up based on percentages to responses given. According to that one, I matched up 100% with being Zoe. So, that seems like it would be the most accurate. So, I guess the who am question is answered best by the one that bases the overall result on percentages. So, I guess that would make me Zoe, which is interesting. The reason that's interesting to me is that my wife has taken a couple of tests and all of her results come back as Wash. So, it would seem that we are matched up pretty properly. Wouldn't you say?

I'm trying something new. Again. Still. Whatever. Short POV's from the BDHs. I figured it was worth a try. If it doesn't eventually work out I'll go back to scripts. No biggie. I'm just playing a little. Life continues to be life. We spoke with a real estate agent. We will speak to another one. We did not like him or what he had to say. If I heard the phrase "I don't mean to be the grim reaper but.." come out of his mouth one more time I would likely have slapped him repeatedly. I'm fairly confident that he does not have any idea who or what the grim reaper is, nor what the phrase he was trying to use actually may be. What a schmuck. We found his suggested selling price of 40K less than we paid for the house just 3 years ago a bit hard to swallow. So did the Realtor we had used at that transaction. You should have seen the look on her face. She assured us that she would try to find someone else to work with us. She is located 60 miles away now, so she cannot do it herself or the meeting would never have occurred. The market has not fluctuated that much in either direction where we are located. Telling us that if the property were three miles *thataway* we might get what we need did not help our estimation of him. We're out in the middle of Nofreakingwhere, corner of Hicks and Ville, three miles down a state highway connecting to the Interstate. It is so very rural as to be largely farmland and forest. There are at least 600 feet of separation between any two dwellings out here. We are on 8 acres, and that's a fairly small parcel for these parts. Don't try to tell me there's a "better address" three miles away because I know it's hogwash. There are no neighborhoods out here. The Amish are not dragging down property values as they slowly move in. It's not like they're the Crips or something for pity's sake. :pissed:

I did the personality from this site and I guess I know which character I am, now. I did the test based on my first instinct responses. I am Mal. Which makes two separate tests that have said I'm Mal, so that pretty much solidifies the result into Mal. Course my wife did the same test and came back as Inara. So, again we are still perfectly matched according to the same test. Well, I guess you could say there's a reason I married her. Unlike Mal, I won't let Inara get away.

I have seen several videos (mostly on MySpace) that are clips from Firefly (or other shows) set to music (for example, there is one of River kicking ass to the tune of 'Dance, Dance' by FallOut Boy). I want to know how to make these, as I have several good ideas I get in my head when I hear certain songs. Does anyone know how this is done / what software I need to do it ??? In fic news, I still haven't written anything. I have some sort of block, and hopefully I will be able to work it out soon. ~Jimi

A friend of mine wanted to post this poem.... It suits the other one I posted... sort of. - Brush my teeth Comb my hair Go to bed Say my prayer Monkey, monkey, in the tree Do you want to dance with me? - Norwegian naivist avantgarde has never been better.

#1 has had a stressful 2 years. Truthfully he has had a stressful 10 years. You see that is when he first understood what it was to be gay. He lived with what he thought was his secret until about 6 months ago. He then finally admitted it to me. The most painful thing I have ever experienced in my ENTIRE life was the look of relief on his face when he realized that I didn't care. No not that I didnt care, but that it was ok. He was him and I love him. No questions. Unconditionally. Forever and ever amen. More than all the stars the nights sky could show us and all that. How hard it must be to live with a secret you think is so horrible that your mother will not love you anymore. He is a changed person. But he still struggles. Add to all that the fact that his dad is a useless carbon based life form, and the fact that we live in a tiny rural town, surrounded by tiny rural town in the buckle of the bible belt. Taking all this in to consideration I am not really surprised that he doesn't feel ready for college. He had wanted to be a Vet his whole life, up until the last year or so. He now has no idea what he wants to do. I feel his pain as I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. If indeed I ever do. All this is the long story way of saying that he has decided to withdraw from college this semester. I am not happy. I am afraid that what he thinks is a "year off" will turn into a lifetime of struggling to get by as I do. But then I remember what a remarkable kid he is. I remember that he has grown up to honor WHO he is. He loves his family, he respects his gramma. He loves animals. I have faith in him. And then of course we could just become the stereotypical gay man living with his mom and 5 cats. I would'nt mind. He and #2 are my most favorite people in the world. Maybe we could get gramma to move in too. Love to my boys.

Ni-Hao, Browncoats, The Bedlam Bards and their album _On the Drift: Music Inspired by Firefly and Serenity_ are in the running for first place in both the Renaissance Festival Music Awards and the CelticMP3s Music Awards. As you know, every time we get a chance to mention Firefly and Serenity to folks who don't yet know about it, the Browncoat Army gains new recruits. It might seem a little surprising that a science-fiction album is doing so well in these other genres, but in fact people go wild any time we play a Firefilk song at a renfaire or a Celtic bar. It's true. So we'd like to encourage all of you to vote for the Bedlam Bards (Best Music Group) and for _On the Drift_ (Best New Album of 2006) at the following URLs:

Pardon the fencing terms (it should be noted that I know crap about swords, except which end to hold. But Wikipedia knows all kinds of neat words). I'm trying to work out a lovely dialogue between a loopy, sarcastic Simon and cold, manipulative Mother. I've got the general idea, but it just doesn't have that verbal punch a fight between a brillaint doctor and his family should have. Anyone wanna read what I've got and tell me how to make it not suck?
