no, make that gone mad. how you ask? well it all started with a dream, a dream that Bakersfield (my home town) got an advanced screening and that my whole family went. It was weird cause I actually saw part of the movie in the dream...something about a train depot and the BDHs busting through a wall. Now I will be really freaked if that is in the movie. Then, there was another "can't stop the signal" and I paid real close attention, so close that in the middle of work I bought 4 tickets to the Tempe screening, forgetting of course that that wonderfully blessed city is 6 hours drive away and my truck could never make it. So I have attempted to con a couple of friends into taking off work with me and driving for me. And it looks like we will be coming, seeing, and going (we cant take work off the next day). Finally, I got my first tattoo today...the lower character for serenity (jing4), smaller and on my hip. All I have to say is this had better be a good movie. Yeah, I can rationalize it that it is for peace cause peace is a wonderful thing, but I would be in denial that it was not partially for our BDM. You may now agree with me...I have gone mad, stark raving mad, but I think it is a good mad.

Ahh the bathroom, the greatest room in the house right? WRONG my bathroom almost became my coffin! Ok maybe that’s an exaggeration- it almost became my bedroom for a night. I went to the “Captain’s Head” (As I call it) to take a wiz. I shut the door when I realize what happened earlier today, the doorknob is broken and doesn’t turn! I hear the ‘click’ of the frozen bolt snapping in to place on the door jam. I try and turn the knob but it just spins around. I push up and down on the doorknob I rock it back and forth. Nothing! I think, ok time to calm down, what tools do I have on hand… a comb, a bar of soap, the box the soap came in, an electric razor, a bottle of shampoo, and a bunch of coat hangers. Crap where’s a skill saw or hammer when you need one! I wedge open the metal plate of the doorknob with the box the soap came in and use the comb and coat hanger to push it open. No good. I wrap a towel around the door know and hit it with the bottle of soap. Still nothing. Damn I guess I’m not MacGyver after all. I’m getting desperate. I start thinking about how I could use the shower curtain as a blanket and the towels as pillows. I go all out on the knob I twist it a dozen times in a counter-clockwise direction and the door opens!! [Mel Gibson]FRRRRREEEEEEDOM!!!![/Mel Gibson] Next I go to my room and grab a screwdriver then take off that damn doorknob for good. ... oh and after all that I still have to take a wiz...

Yes, that was a question that was asked. The person who asked me said "What makes Firefly different from any other space show out ther". My answers. 1. No Aliens - As much as I loved Star Trek: TNG, Deep Space Nice, and Enterprise. I am glad to see Firefly doesnt have all those Aliens. It's a nice change from the other shows that feature alien life. 2. Cowboys in Space - Dont ask me why but I have allways loved those old Westerns that they show on AMC or TCM. 3. Clothing - Nobody wears the same thing every single day. (Example: Star Trek:TNG) 4. Chinese - Love it! I thing this is one of the best things on the series. All in all, Joss created a great show (Buffy and Angel included)! I really wish it could of been on longer and I am looking forward to seeing Serenity and will buy it on DVD when it comes out as well! My question for you, What do you think makes Firefly Different from the rest?

Anyone know where I could get a replica of the "troublemaker" t-shirt that Jayne wears? (it's the one with the handgun image on it) Would like to get it before the 5/26 showing.

... I'm going to bore you all with how my day went... Hmmm... what I did I get up to today... yesterday... whatever! Well lets see... I lay awake this morning, tossing and turning because I got sunstroke the day before. (should have listened when parents said put suntan lotion on... and not laughed in their faces) So after several pints of water, I eventually got to sleep, only to be woken up at 9 due to the effects several pints of water had on me... Went back to bed, planning on lying there for a wee while, but instead fell asleep again and dreampt that I was kept as a slave, used as a whore, my hair was chopped off and when I was rescued I was pregnant, but I lost the baby due to my hair being too short... or some such nonsense... the ending was fuzzy 'cause my dad woke me up ten minutes before we were supposed to be leaving. The result of which was me forgetting to put a belt on, spending the rest of the day pulling up my trousers and wearing odd socks - I swear it's the new in thing... everyone's doing it! Drove all the way down to Troon (an hour), was bored to death at my grandparents house for two hours then drove all the way home again (an hour and a half due to "Sunday" drivers from England - not that there's anything wrong with English people... just Sunday drivers...) *sighs* Then went into town to see A at King Tuts, (apparently I'd known for weeks, but first I'd heard of it was two hours before doors opening) Anyway... gig was good... supporting band was good... got hug off supporting band's (Instruction) lead singer (no idea what his name was) got plectrum off Mark out of A (even has his name on it and A) and lead singer of Instruction and autograph (didn't even know the band or the dude...) and am now sat waiting for my ears to stop ringing so I can go to bed... which is why you've had to endure this painful recall of my day... .... They're still ringing... and I've run out of things to say... except I'm hungry... and I want to write fanfiction... hmmm... *wanders off to find food, hoping to find my muse in the fridge as well*
