What makes Firefly so different?

Yes, that was a question that was asked. The person who asked me said "What makes Firefly different from any other space show out ther". My answers.1. No Aliens - As much as I loved Star Trek: TNG, Deep Space Nice, and Enterprise. I am glad to see Firefly doesnt have all those Aliens. It's a nice change from the other shows that feature alien life.
2. Cowboys in Space - Dont ask me why but I have allways loved those old Westerns that they show on AMC or TCM.
3. Clothing - Nobody wears the same thing every single day. (Example: Star Trek:TNG)
4. Chinese - Love it! I thing this is one of the best things on the series.
All in all, Joss created a great show (Buffy and Angel included)! I really wish it could of been on longer and I am looking forward to seeing Serenity and will buy it on DVD when it comes out as well!
My question for you, What do you think makes Firefly Different from the rest?
