second: Trump and his family have made almost $4 billion dollars "off of the presidency" in just about a year. That is money from business deals that would not have happened if Trump wasn't the president of the United States. How much income tax did Trump pay? None as far as we know because Trump does not release his IRS form 1040, unlike every other President. [go to link] - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.12 17:59
second: The Congressional Budget Office report identifies massive policy developments as the primary drivers of this fiscal deterioration. The largest single contributor is the 2025 reconciliation act, which permanently extended the individual income tax rates and business investment incentives originally established by the 2017 tax act. Trump designed and signed both the 2017 and 2025 tax act. He personally benefited. See his income tax returns. Oh no! You can’t see them. Trump won’t let you see his IRS form 1040. 6ixStringJack: Maybe people would take you seriously if you ever once complained about it when your side always increases the budget. But you don't, and here we are. It's got to be really frustrating for you, huh? You have zero argument for any issue because you're guilty of doing everything you claim the other side is doing. Good luck with those Epstien files on top of everything else, buddy. You're fucked. Forever. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.12 11:14
second: The fiscal trajectory is not sustainable: Congressional Budget Office warns about the highest debt in US history as Trump adds $1.4 trillion to 10-year deficit [go to link] President Donald Trump has repeatedly pledged to slash the national deficit and curb debt during his second term, but a sobering assessment of the nation’s financial health by one of the federal government’s premier fiscal watchdogs suggests Trump 2.0’s policies have not only collectively pushed the federal deficit significantly higher, but put the country on an unsustainable path. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.12 10:23
6ixStringJack: Look at how insane you're getting, Ted. None of those stories matter. By next week, nobody will ever bring any of them up again. You just continue to drive yourself crazy until you snap. You're a fucking idiot. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.12 06:01
6ixStringJack: Democrats are being destroyed in those Epstein files, son. You have no idea what you just unleashed upon yourself, son. I think Trump wanted to save all of that and drop those bombs before election day, but I'm sure he's saving the best for last now. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.12 06:00

THG: The few remaining moderate House Republicans appear poised to break with President Donald Trump in a key vote on his signature economic policy.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-La.) is using several procedural maneuvers to shield Trump from legislative challenges and oversight, planning to ask the House to extend the ban on bringing up resolutions challenging Trump’s tariffs on products from dozens of U.S. trading partners through August.

However, according to Punchbowl News, key Republicans indicated they would likely vote against the measure. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.11 18:26

Brenda: Not really SIX. There are pee wee teams all over the country and all the kids have to is try out. The teams pay for rink time and such. Parents if they can afford it can pay for new but you can pick up hockey gear like skates and masks and other stuff if you are lucky, say at the Salvation Army thrift stores. Kids grow out of stuff or get tired of playing parents don't want the clutter they donate it. Not sure about hockey sticks parents may have to buy those. Ah, field trips to the local rinks for ice skating in elementary school. I used to do that. Hockey sticks were always around the guys would grab them and pretend to famous hockey players of the time. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.11 09:39
6ixStringJack: That makes sense, Brenda. In Canada, is Ice Hockey considered a rich kid sport? I know it is here. No school I went to or that was even near me had Hockey Teams. If you played hockey, you had rich parents that paid steep prices for all the gear and the time on the ice at rinks for every practice and match. No taxpayer dollars (at least through the schools) and no traditional means of having "Booster Clubs" since unlike more traditional sports that were in every school, these parents were already spending boatloads of cash just to put their kids in there and probably weren't very likely to be donating any more of theirs. I bet they have to sell a ton of candy bars or something. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.11 06:55

Brenda: Well, they didn't. Norway is now on top. The Nordic countries tend to do better in the Winter games I think because they put such an emphasis on sports when kids are in school. The summer games feel that way for sure. I think for these Winter games it will be a Nordic country that gets the most. Findland, Norway, Sweden. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.11 04:21

6ixStringJack: Wow... I can't really imagine that they keep it up, but it would be cool to see some small european country win the thing. Does that alraeady happen sometimes? I haven't paid attention in decades. To me it seemed like it was always between America/Russia/China and everyone else was just there for funzies and to compete against each other. I'm not saying other countries didn't go home with some golds and a boatload of medals too, but it would make sense that the superpowers with the largest populations and money pools would take it all. It was why they put the salary cap on Baseball so the NY Yankees wouldn't outspend everyone else 10-1 - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.11 00:22
Brenda: Okay, just told Janyzestown to take his garbage somewhere besides my Olympic thread. I don't want pollution in there. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 23:38
Brenda: A couple of good movies I've been rewatching are "Bon Cop, Bad Cop" and there are two of those. They are hilarious. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 23:34
Brenda: It probably was written for the movie and they hired a singer to preform it. And she did do that well. I saw the music video somewhere. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 23:33
Brenda: I got that it was seduction from the lyrics too. But it was a good song. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 23:32
Brenda: Probably a lot of people know what movie that song is from. It was just one of those songs that hung around for a good while. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 23:31
Brenda: I vaguely remember when Zoolander came out. Not my bag though I did see "Meet the Parents" and those were funny. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 23:30
Brenda: No, look at my post. So far just terrible. No, not China. Last time I looked Finland was or Italy was in the lead. Italy would make sense it is their home turf. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 23:28
6ixStringJack: I would have to imagine somebody wrote it for her because I believe she was a few years younger than I was, and I might have just turned old enough to drink when it came out. I have a hard time believing that words like that came out of a mind so young. Not due to a lack of intelligence, but from a lack of experience. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 14:31
6ixStringJack: It's not a love song. It's a song of seduction. Of a woman who is letting her future lover know that they will be lovers, but not because she needs to force anything. Only because it's inevitable. She's the moonlight, and he can't fight it. And once she breaks him down enough to kiss him, the only fighting he'll be doing is for her. It's as well-written a song as it is preformed and produced. I wonder if Rhymes wrote it herself or if somebody wrote it for her. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 14:29
6ixStringJack: I knew that "Can't Fight the Moonlight" came right from that sountrack without you telling me about it. It is a good song. One of the last "love" songs that I liked over the years, before my age kicked in and things like that didn't impress me much anymore. It's got that "That" for sure in the chorus and just the overall vibe, especially at the end when it's kicked up a notch, but this is one of those songs I'm talking about when I talk about "Chorus" people. You've probably heard it enough to really know them by now. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 14:28
6ixStringJack: That's what I mean about that movie. It's so strange I would know this much about it having never seen it. I think it may have come out the same summer that Zoolander did. I saw that movie and liked it and probably know just as much about Coyote Ugly. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 14:24
6ixStringJack: Who's winning, Brenda? If I can't root for Canada either, I at least need somebody to root against. I'm hoping it's not China or Russia at the top of the boards right now. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 14:20
Brenda: I will just give me a bit of time. Okay but I do try to be careful as I don't with operating systems know what is what. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 10:16
Brenda: I guess. I never saw and I think you are right. The bar in the movie was called the title of the movie and all the lead actresses worked there. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 10:15
Brenda: Thanks. Maybe I will then. I am just hoping we don't get creamed. Between you and me, neither of us is doing great right now. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.10 10:14
