Today was a rare day where she complained of the heat on the phone and I told her to get something cold to drink and get back in her bedroom with the A/C. Three straight days of this with a 4th coming tomorrow and the lows overnight barely dipping into the high 70's means that house is around 90 degrees outside of the two rooms with window units. | 6IXSTRINGJACK: Fortunately in these parts I don't think we get many wildfires even during drought spells. Been here all my life and I don't recall any, anyhow. Flooding is pretty bad around here though when we get heavy rainfall consistently. This year it's just been godawful hot all week and I've been in constant contact with my grandma to make sure she's keeping cool and spending most of her time in the bedroom with the window A/C unit.
