Just the last 3 digits of them to let people know that I had them. 6IXSTRINGJACK: And Gary Indiana is still bad, even though it's not the "Murder Capital of the World" anymore like it was called in the mid 90's. But Gary is a big city and most of the violence only happens in small pockets where the terminally poor and unfortunate live. If this were Illinois, that violence would be spilling out into the neighboring towns where there was actually worthwhile stuff to rob, but it stays in Gary because everybody else is either actually armed or assumed to be armed. Just a year ago 4 guys were stealing an SUV parked in a driveway 3 blocks from where my Dad lives (in a good neighborhood) and when the neighbor woke up from the noise and shouted at him, they shot him before stealing the SUV and driving away. 6IXSTRINGJACK: Absolutely they should be. But right now, especially in big cities, we're not even punishing criminals for violent crimes and we're putting them right back out on the streets. If the cops here knew that I had a gun and that I didn't carry it with me when I went out they'd actually give me a hassle for not doing so. The problem isn't the guns. The problem is that too many criminals have possession of them. All gun control laws will do is ensure that law abiding citizens can't possess them and it will leave them defenseless against the criminals who already have nothing to lose and will continue to carry. Like I said, we're conceal and carry here. Everyone is more polite because nobody knows who is packing heat. Outside of rare occurrences in Indianapolis, you don't hear any stories like you do all the time in Illinois and Chicago. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 02.20 19:35
